There are names that, when spoken, tug at the heartstrings.
Ha Giang is more than a place on a map. It is a living memory, a waking dream, a sacred land where countless wanderers have found pieces of themselves among the whispering winds of the mountains.
And then, one day, we heard the news: HaGiang would no longer exist as an independent province, but become part of Tuyen Quang, as part of Vietnam’s administrative restructuring.
That news swept across our hearts like a cold wind—sharp, still, and full of sorrow.
